Using this model, a standard bottle of wine at 750ml with an Alcohol by Volume (ABV) of 12.5% would have approximately 525 calories. With approximately 5, 5oz servings of wine per 750ml bottle, that means there would be an estimated 105 calories per glass. We used this calculation to determine the approximate calories in each of our sugar free wines.

Hi Loria-we do not carry any white zinfandel wines, and we do not have any sugar free rose. All of the sugar free wines we have are listed above. You can see the residual sugar contents of all of our wines on their individual pages on the website.

Hi Ali-so sorry for the delay in responding. None of our sugar free wines are no sulfites added, but all have under 100ppm of added sulfites (compared to up to 350 for conventional wines). In Palm Springs, you can find many of our wines at On the Mark and Bouschet.

Hi Shannon-with the definition of a sugar free wine being anything under 1 g/l of sugar, we do not have any sweet wines in this category. Our Lambrusco is off dry, but is has 43 g/l sugar-making it sweeter. A sweet red wine that is sugar free would only exist if it was artificially sweetened.

Our sugar-free wine collection includes three whites (please see the chart above), though none contain Chardonnay. We encourage you to branch out and try some new wines! You should be able to find the Les Hauts de Lagarde White and Koyle Costa La Flor Sauvignon Blanc in Whole Foods in Dallas.

You may want to add a little additional sweetener as it may taste less sweet when frozen. Finally, pour the mixture into popsicle molds and freeze until solid. Now you have delicious and refreshing low-carb strawberry lemonade popsicles.

In week six, Sarah suggests reintroducing a little sweetness. I made some lower-sugar chocolates and stuffed down three in quick succession. The next day when faced with leftovers, the internal debate began. Shall I? Shan't I? It made me realise how refreshing it had been not to think like this. Being strict was starting to prove the easier option. At least it was black and white.

The main benefit for me, though, was a more sensitive palate. Food just tasted more amazing. Fruit tasted sweeter, savory foods were more flavorful, and even just a little full fat cream in my coffee started to taste perfectly sweet to me without any added sugar.

My husband and I did sugar-free January, including giving up honey and maple syrup (we did keep wine and unsweetened dried fruit!). It was hard at times, but ultimately super rewarding for both of us! We both dropped a few lbs., and I was able to kick my gross flavored-coffeemate-plus-an-extra-spoonful-of-sugar habit, and am now drinking my coffee unsweetened with just a big splash of half and half (thanks for that tip!).

Example 1: The first time we went sugar free, the challenge overlapped with a once-in-a-lifetime big family vacation. There was one really special night in particular that we were celebrating three golden birthdays (including mine!) and even though it was hard, Bjork and I decided to do our best to stay away from the treats. It was important to us that year to have a completely sugar-free experience. We focused on enjoying all the other foods and spending time with family playing games and laughing, and we still had a great time.

Yes, I am jumping in a bit late. My hubby and I have been sugar free and carb free for almost a year.I have a go to tiny treat if we need something. It is a 1/2 teas of this rolled nut, raisin, cinn and natural peanut butter. ground and rolled and popped in the fridge. one batch makes 32 so lasts a very long time. He lost 45lbs fast and is keeping it off. I am struggling to lose 20 and yes I work out every day!Great challenge for those who want a sugar free life!

I have suffered for the past 10 years with Hashis with little help. I am going to start this blood sugar balance and see what happens. One question I have is that you say avoid dairy but list eggs as something you should eat. I am confused? Thanks for the article.

Hypoglycemia is the medical term for low blood sugar (low blood glucose). Your body, especially your brain, depends on this sugar to work. Too little sugar in your blood causes problems that can sometimes be serious.
